Full description of the position

Power Lodge is a family-owned Marine and Powersport dealership, serving our customers for over 20 years! We are currently looking for a General Sales Manager for our Brainerd location. This position is responsible for overseeing the Sales and F&I department for this location. Prefer applicants that have experience in the industry within Finance, Sales, and Management.

Job Responsibilities:

· Build and promote, strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

· Assess the Sales and F&I department processes and make changes as needed to adapt to the industry.

· Communicate areas of accountability and performance expectations to Sales and F&I staff.

· Assist in facilitating and overseeing the training process for sales staff.

· Work with sales staff to improve and preserve performance and profitability.

· Work closely with General Manager and Director of Operations to ensure implemented company procedures are followed.

· Conduct weekly Sales Department staff meetings.

· Perform as backup to F&I department as needed.

· Develop budgets, set goals, and measuring results for all Sales and F&I departments.

· Desk deals, track statistics, and manage leads.

· Ensure pricing and inventory policies are followed properly.

· Oversee standards for displays on the show floor, ensuring they are clean, attractive, and current.

· Manage and maintain adequate amount of physical inventory.

· Maintain good working relationship with manufacturers and lending institutions.

· Oversee warranty registrations for all manufacturers.

· Work with Marketing Manager, General Manager and Director of Operations on marketing strategies.

· Serve as a professional and respected dealership representative.

· Maintain a positive team atmosphere.

· Other duties as assigned.
