Job Description:
As a Collaboration Principal Architect, you will manage business development and growth of the ePlus Collaboration Portfolio. You will serve as a technical sales overlay within an assigned area, driving activity, awareness, training, pipeline and helping to close sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- Focused on driving incremental growth of our ePlus Collaboration practice in the defined geographic area.
- Analyze and help prioritize consultative activity within existing accounts that will drive results for our customers while driving growth for the practice.
- Act as a technical authority of the Collaboration Practice in the geography.
- Solid understanding of marketplace needs with ability to position ePlus programs in partnership with sales, vendors and 3rd parties.
- Ongoing field enablement to ensure all regions and teams understand the value of ePlus collaboration solutions and how to position appropriately.
- Lead efforts for demand generation in alignment with account executives and sales teams.
- Maintain alignment and cadence with regional sales and services teams.
- Assist with ongoing management of training and development plans for area wide staff.
- Align with sales for accurate forecasting of the business.
- Team with peer practice leaders to drive growth of overall business within geography.
- Support pre-sales and delivery teams with cadence meetings for technology updates in alignment with national direction.
- Participate in national practice teams and other groups to support ePlus practice growth.
- Contribute to and lead in development of technical library content for repeatability in the field.
- Collaborate with peers across other markets to share best practices and develop a consistent approach for the position, yielding optimal results for the organization.

Job Knowledge/Skills:
- Consultative, technical selling approach while understanding the financial considerations of traditional and as a Service selling models.
- In-depth technical knowledge of Unified Communications, Contact Center and Audio-Visual products and services.
- Solid understanding of the direction the industry is taking in terms of aaS and remote work.
- Natural leader that loves to team and win.
- Advanced presentation skills with ability to create own content
- Goals oriented
- Able to work both independently and as a member of an agile team
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of collaboration-selling experience
- Minimum of 10+ years of successful technology consulting sales experience
- Unified Collaboration background (Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Zoom, or any Cloud-based communication and collaboration)
- Industry Collaboration certifications (Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom) a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Position Specifics:
The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $170,000 and $190,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10-20 pounds of force occasionally.
