Advertising Sales Consultant

The Republican Herald in Schuylkill County, PA has an exciting sales position available selling integrated multi-media advertising plans to local businesses. This position is responsible for generating revenue through the sales of our print, digital and outdoor advertising products.

The successful candidate will inherit a strong list of existing accounts, plus the ability to target new accounts within a defined geographical territory. We are looking for someone who can recognize opportunities to help businesses when doing their discovery and needs analysis calls, and then create results-oriented campaigns for our business partners.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of direct sales experience, knowledge of the Schuylkill County area, an understanding of digital media, and reliable transportation and auto insurance. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products is also preferred. Experience in consultative sales preferred but not required. However, we are looking for a hunter!

This is a full-time, salary + commission and bonuses position. Other benefits include:
