Join our growing team in Roseburg, Oregon as a Sales Engineer where you will work with a Sales Representative and the Engineering team on custom equipment layouts, proposals, and estimates. Customer contact is required. Must be able to tour mills and attend trade shows.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Review specifications and RFQ documents to determine project scope of work

· Use AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create custom equipment layouts and time studies to optimize line functionality

· Discuss technical details with customers and translate information to proposal verbiage and layout drawing

· Perform material take offs and evaluate previous equipment to provide estimates

· Assist Sales Rep with presentations of proposals and layouts to the customer

· Travel to mill locations (domestic and international) to discuss opportunities with customers and evaluate equipment on the mill floor

· May require assisting with trade shows

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering preferred

· Mechanical knowledge and ability

· Ability to use AutoCAD or 3D (Inventor)

· Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently, retain a sense of urgency, and meet strict timelines required

· Proven track record of being self-motivated; working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency with office software, especially MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

· Must be available to travel

· Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
