Full description of the position

We are looking for a proven and experienced front-line sales leader responsible for leading a team of enterprise sales reps in the cybersecurity industry with strong vertical market experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, State/Local, Telco, & Cyber Insurance. The position is responsible for the US Enterprise revenue for the US and is based in San Diego or remote.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build a team of direct Sales Executives to drive rapid new business sales growth in the US.
  • A proven and consistent track record selling Cyber Security solutions in the Financial Services, Healthcare, State/Local, Telco, & Cyber Insurance segments and established relationships at the C-suite level
  • Build and drive sales strategy by collaborating with Global Product Management & Sales teams, delivering a clear go-to-market strategy for the region, including understanding the competitive landscape.
  • Actively engage in territory planning, relationship development and opportunity development and driving revenue by supporting and assisting Field Sales Teams in closing opportunities
  • Recruit, coach and mentor team members to drive excellence
  • Development of territories and quota for the sales team and effectively communicate to set performance expectations within the team
  • Manage and report accurate forecasts and pipelines to the business
  • Achievement of annual sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis is required
  • Engage and align effectively in C-level meetings to properly understand customer business requirements
  • Build effective working relationships with cross-departmental teams, including ESET executive team
  • Retain and grow the existing customer base with regular non-sales customer engagement activities to deliver an excellent customer experience
Qualifications
  • Extensive track record of new business sales success, within Enterprise Software, including presentation and negotiation skills within the industry and at C Level within the market
  • Strong success in recruiting, coaching and managing an exceptional sales team
  • Strong strategic thinking, including analytical and financial planning skills, to meet and exceed quotas and goals
  • Experienced in driving sales processes and building effective working relationships with Sales Operations
  • Ability to understand the 'bigger picture' and business drivers
  • Ability to build long-term strategic and senior-level relationships
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Industry experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, State/Local, Telco, & Cyber Insurance
  • A Bachelor’s degree; an MBA is a plus

Key Technical Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of Enterprise software sales & business development
  • 5-7 years of management experience leading a team of sales executives in the enterprise segment
  • 3-5 years of specialty vertical market sales, preferably in Financial Services, Healthcare, State/Local, Telco, & Cyber Insurance
  • College Degree or equivalent work experience

  • This person must be a self-starter and self-motivated, driven to exceed established goals.
  • Strong record of driving business results through channels with effective sales strategy and execution of the channel’s plans.

  • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate the corporate strategy to the sales team and partners.
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
  • Competent with market research and analysis of competitive and industry data and understands customer needs/forecasting trends.
  • Self-starter with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Highly collaborative worker
  • Minimum travel of 40%

Salary Range OTE: $225,000/yr - $300,000/yr
