Candidates' prior industrial/commercial sales experience is a plus for this job

Job Title: Propane Sales Representative

Position Type: Full Time

Reports To: Sales Supervisor

Lin-Gas, Inc. is a leading distributor of propane in the Indiana; Kentucky and Tennessee region, providing industrial propane forklift cylinders; commercial heating and process applications; and home heating. We are a family-owned business since 1945.

Required Experience: 3 to 5 years

As Lin-gas sales representative you will be meeting with potential and existing customers; assisting branch operations; learning new products and applications and keeping current with trends and technology in the industry.

Responsibilities:

Present programs and services to customers

Prepare customer quotes, packages and literature for services and equipment

Develop professional relationships with customers

Call on assigned accounts to help customers succeed

Achieve sales goals

Attend and participate in company meetings; training classes and industry events

Qualifications:

Clean driving record

Proof of auto insurance is required. Increased liability insurance may be required

Knowledge of propane is preferred

Skills:

Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Experience with Microsoft Office

Ability to provide presentations to customers on products, services and safety training
