A Day In The Life of an Product Sales Manager / Technical Sales

The position you are applying for requires you to be curious, dynamic and eager for new challenges. It also wants you to perform business and market analysis in a multinational corporation.

Essential Duties of The Product Sales Manager / Technical Sales

• Your main tasks include, among others:
• Development of financial models to proactively drive Aircraft Component business
• (Component MRO, Sales, Loan Exchange) in North, Central & South America.
• Monitoring and analysis of competitors, competition development and initiation of
• required measures to protect and extend existing business.
• Establish and maintain relationships with major accounts.
• Realization of sales projects incl. internal production preparation.
• Support Services of dedicated customers with the objective of customer loyalty and
• business extension.
• Evaluation of market conducive products and adjustment of existing products to market
• and customer needs.
• Development and realization of projects as well as participation on projects.

Minimum Requirements

• The ideal Product Sales Manager should meet the following requirements:
• High school diploma/GED required.
• College degree/vocational training required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree is desirable.
• 5 years of professional experience in Account and Sales Management.
• English language required.
• German, Portuguese & Spanish languages are desirable.
• 5 years aviation MRO experience.
• Very good understanding of financials models & sales controlling.
• Very good knowledge in the aviation MRO & trading industry including an existing network of contacts.
• MS Office as an expert.
• Good Skills of SAP/R3 software (desirable).
• Responsible for budget & revenue.
• Must possess a permit to work in the U.S.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively (domestic and international).
