Full description of the position

As a sales representative for Sofo Foods, you will be responsible for calling on customers, managing accounts, and providing exceptional service. This is an outside sales position, servicing the greater Toledo and surrounding suburbs. The candidate should live in the area of Toledo.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling on existing and prospective restaurant customers.
  • Managing accounts and generating sales growth.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
  • Conducting product demonstrations with customers.
  • Creating business plans based on a customer’s needs and sales objectives.


Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Outside consultative sales experience with continuous repeat customers.
  • Working knowledge of food service sales and the restaurant industry. Preferably experience in the ethic/Italian food market.
  • Demonstrated track record of prospecting and opening new customer accounts.
  • Analytical ability to develop and execute business plans to generate sales growth.
  • Self-motivation to meet sales goals.
  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Efficient use of time management.
  • Associates/Bachelor’s Degree – Business/Marketing or related, preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test.
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, dependable vehicle and auto insurance coverage.
