The Moody’s Analytics Predictive Analytics OU is hiring Associate Director - Senior Business Analyst to join our Market Strategy team in New York City! As a member of the team, you will help us communicate with our global roster of clients and prospects to drive our revenue and increase customer satisfaction. You will assist in segmenting our markets and seeing opportunities, helping to define pricing and packaging of our solutions. Key responsibilities:
Business Performance: Monitor the health of the business, supporting product team, sales team and Customer Success Managers on retention and new business activities. Develop ideas and business justification for new products and product enhancements.
Sales Strategy and Planning: Support the Market Strategy team in the definition of the budget and pricing. Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue through campaigns targeted to predetermined segments (e.g. corporate bond investors).
Go to market support: Provide guidance to product management in defining the go to market of new product and functionalities. Conduct market research to validate and refine new product opportunities.
UX Design Sprints: As this team handles the UX design for the entire OU, you will work closely with the UX designers to convert the customer needs into quality desig
Analysis: Track and forecast sales, customer segmentation, report on developing trends, and institute action plans based on trends
5+ years of professional experience working in a product team environment
Ability to creatively problem solve
Proficiency in Excel and SQL to analyze and query data from multiple sources, create reports and visualizations, etc.
Proven experience prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously with close attention to detail and on-time delivery
Strong relationship building and presentation abilities required
Experience effectively collaborating with and influencing a broad variety of partners including, sales, legal, product, UX, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of Credit markets, and how banks, insurances and asset managers operate and consume our data, strongly preferred
Prior working experience in financial analysis and/or data analysis, strongly preferred
Good understanding of API and data feed a plus
Bachelor's degree preferred.

This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
