PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interface with Account Executives and clients to understand and interpret technical requirements and provide solutions that meet or exceed their needs
• Provide technical expertise to the sales team and customers in the areas of server platforms, datacenter hardware, and pre-owned datacenter solutions
• Assist Account Executives in gathering technical requirements via phone or email with customers and maintaining and expanding business relationships/market share with existing and new customers
• Translate customer requirements to create detailed quotes and proposals that accurately reflect the solution being offered
• Articulate value proposition for individual line of business to drive revenue
• Managed quote requests as assigned, work to resolve open questions and build quotes using SalesForce
• Set pricing based on pricing models and market dynamics with guidance from account executives
• Achieve gross margin quota targets
• Stay current on industry trends, datacenter products, technologies, product features, compatibility rules, part numbers, and market pricing
• Interface with sales, sales support and operations teams to ensure correct order processing, flawless execution, and 100% customer satisfactionProvide efficient, friendly and proactive customer service and timely problem solving
• Effectively balance demands from multiple stakeholders and short-term and long-term priorities
• Collaborate with product and marketing on campaigns
• Assist product management teams in driving efficiency improvements to existing processes and internal tools
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years experience in the datacenter hardware field, ideally with hands-on hardware experience in a datacenter, lab, or IT hardware sales environment
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and order management systems such as SalesForce.com and Oracle, as well as Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of server platforms, including hardware and software components
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree (4-year college/university studies) or equivalent
• Prior sales experience in the IT industry specifically pre-owned Server & Enterprise Storage equipment
• Experience creating quotes and proposals for datacenter solutions
• Ability to gather business intelligence and technical requirements
• Specific knowledge of server products from HPE, Dell and Cisco or storage products from Netapp, Dell (EMC), and HPE.
• Have a professional demeanor, a desire to help others, and promote a positive team environment
• Be a self-driven, results-oriented individual with the ability to multi-task and assess own performance
• Ability to respond to rapid change, perform duties with accuracy and with a strong degree of urgency
• Experience with Configure/Price/Quote tools within a CRM platform

Salary Range: $80,000 - $96,000 TCC
