The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced sales executive to join our global M&A team. We value individuals that can contribute to our growth-oriented culture and deepen our domain expertise within the Financial Services vertical. Our team includes a mix of seasoned founders, CEOs, CFOs and product leaders, as well as M&A and business development professionals who work hard and have fun doing it.
The role:
  • Initiate, build and maintain relationships with owners of software businesses, M&A brokers and investment banks via email, phone, and in-person
  • Research, build and maintain an in-depth market mapping of vertical market software companies within the broader Financial Services vertical
  • Identify, manage, and participate in industry events with the intent to build C-level relationships
  • Obtain financial and operational information from business owners, brokers, and banks, and updating our proprietary CRM system
  • Working directly with internal senior executives to accompany firms through later-stage M&A discussions
  • Develop new outreach strategies with our marketing team to drive engagement and deepen relationships
Your qualifications:
  • 7-10 years experience in enterprise software sales, M&A business development or a leadership position within a vertical market software company
  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally also having earned an MBA from a top tier university
  • Preference given to those with domain expertise in either Banking or Insurance verticals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated individual with an ability to perform independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity
  • Ability to travel domestic and international 25% of the time
