Our growing optometry clinic, led by a husband and wife team of doctors, is looking for an optician to work with our current team to enact our vision of a high quality optical. At Redmond Eye Clinic, we believe in providing high quality optical products, personalized, state-of-the-art eye care, and an outstanding experience for our patients. We are always on the cutting edge of new optical products and technology!

Our ideal optician has previous optical experience, is team-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to educate patients on the benefits of quality eyewear. The main role of our opticians is to find the best eyewear and lenses for a patient to suit their lifestyle, personality and technical needs. Other responsibilities include:

• Educating patients on high quality optical products
• Translate patient encounters into profitable sales
• Dispensing glasses to patients and ensuring the best fit and vision possible
• Submitting optical orders into our electronic system
• Tracking orders to ensure patient satisfaction
• Frame buying with local frame representatives
• Helping manage frame inventory
• Tracking optical expenses
• Projecting optical sales growth
• Strategizing to improve optical sales growth

Our practice is expanding in many areas including pediatrics and our opticians must be comfortable and excited to work with kids.

Clinic hours are M-Th 8am-5pm and F 8am-4pm with NO WEEKENDS! We offer a competitive salary based on experience with health benefits, a bonus structure, and long term growth. Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
