We are searching for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team. We are showcasing a brand-new rooms product based on the newest Marriott Standards. We are looking for someone to bring new business and accounts to our new hotel.

Who we are:

Marriott Columbia is the largest hotel downtown featuring a unique blend of Southern comfort and urban style. The 300-room full-service hotel offers Southern American cuisine in its Midlands restaurant and adjoining lounge and features the most amount of flexible meeting and event spaces in downtown Columbia, with 24,000 square feet that accommodates groups ranging anywhere from five to 800 people. We are one of the top Marriott’s in the brand when it comes to guest satisfaction.

Who we are looking for:

Guest service is the driving principle at the Marriott. We require a hands-on attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in branded hotel group sales. We would like full-service experience but would be open a busy select serve or cluster sales team experience. Sales manages divide their rime with prospecting, attending events, conducting sales calls, walking guests through site inspections, creating proposals, and closing the sales. Sales managers will be expected to meet or exceed their sales goals.
