POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Manager role focuses on ensuring that company sales goals are met or exceeded including achieving all key business metrics while following the California Closets policies and procedures. This role ensures that the SDC, SSDA and Lead teams are delivering on the California Closets standards of excellence with each and every customer. The Sales Manager also collaborates with the Operations team to ensure that the process flow is being followed and results in delivering on a high standard of customer service at all touchpoints.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The Sales Manager will support the local California Closets owned management team by leading 3 or more Sales Leads of the sales team.
- Sales Manager and/or General Manager will monitor performance metrics in order to align with ability to lead the sales team.
- Working in collaboration with the rest of the Sales leadership team, the Sales lead will hire and retain top talent based the budgeted number and/or demand of the market of Design Consultants
- Coach and mentor, a team of Design Consultants ensuring all company revenue goals and key performance indicators are met or exceeded through monthly (Goal Setting & Review Meetings) GS&R’s.
- Ensure direct reports are delivering on an exception customer experience with every customer touch point and follow up on completed procedures per company policy
- Manages underperformers following performance management guidelines to improve results including detailed documentation, may have to include HR and General Manager.
- Collaborate with other Sales Leads to ensure all mandatory training is completed as per training strategy for new and on-going training and development including classroom and CC 360
- Work with Design Consultants to create a Personal Marketing Plan and/or a plan for self-generated leads.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive knowledge in a specialized field requiring theoretical training and extensive experience
- Requires the skill to persuade, influence, and/or negotiate with others on a regular basis
- External communication that includes clients, vendors, gov’t agencies, and service providers
- Internal Communication that includes manufacturing, corporate, and other CCO teams.
- Manage a team of 3 or more team members
- Makes minor corrections and adjustments to solve simple issues
- Work will be guided by company policies and strategies. The team member is response for setting annual objectives for their area
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $118,000.00 per year
