Full description of the position
SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative will communicate proactively with a targeted account list, monitor results and assist with dealer performance by executing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Establishes cadenced proactive call schedule with assigned accounts and enters all relevant topical information into Salesforce by utilizing the Voices feature.
Collaborates with dealer contacts to convert quotes that have remained in the queue for 180+ days.
Identifies trends within region and in concert with Sales Operations team, formulates a plan to address decreases in revenue and increases in warranty orders.
Reviews past due accounts and works with the Sales representative, dealer and Credit to bring account current.
Evaluates weekly delivery schedule to ensure the dealer can accept product as scheduled.
Coordinates trailer pick-up with Logistics as needed.
Reviews Field Service usage to ensure dealer is submitting cases that should be completed by the Service team.
Partner with Sales representative to promote PGTI initiatives.
Addresses and resolves customer complaints during cadenced conversations with dealers.
Evaluates back charges, recommends and/or determines appropriate action using authorized discretion in the final resolution.
Composes written communication in response to dealer complaints.
Maintains contact with customers and Sales representative throughout dispute.
Reviews and authorizes, within approval level, special discount requests from customer service and Sales representative.
Compiles and analyzes data used by Sales, such as special discounts.
Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records.
Maximizes productivity of Sales team through proficient use of appropriate software applications, such as Salesforce, Excel and others as assigned.
Confers with sales representative to determine proper pricing for special products with no standard pricing.
Creates queries of sales data and develops standard and ad hoc reports.
Maintains proper documentation for tax liability and audits.
Maintains effective working relationship with Credit/Collections, Customer Service, Marketing, Service, and Transportation Departments to manage all aspects of customer experience from sales to installation.

QUALIFICATIONS

In-depth knowledge of PGTI products and their applications
Understanding of construction techniques and appropriate fenestration
Knowledge of field repair costs and techniques
Ability to deal effectively with diverse types of people
Advanced level proficiency in:
AS 400
Web Weaver
Salesforce
Data Warehouse
Word and Excel
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
At least five years of customer service/sales experience at PGTI
In-depth understanding of PGTI products, processes and functional areas
LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong English language skills to communicate effectively with customers, Spanish is a benefit but not required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Accurate mathematical skills to conduct analysis, calculate discounts and pricing, review back charges, etc.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to make sound decisions with limited supervision

Manufacturing floor and office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing.

Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
Must be able to work at work station for extended periods of time and communicate over telephone.
The position requires consistent daily attendance to provide the necessary level of customer service
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel occasionally domestically.
Occasional: activity exists less than 1/3 of the time.
Frequent: activity exists 1/3 and 2/3 of the time.
