Full description of the position
The ideal Senior Account Manager will work with a diverse client portfolio to ensure their long-term success. With an understanding of their business goals and objectives, you will work at the direction of the Vice President, Customer Success to develop an account plan and corresponding roadmap that will guide the relationship and simultaneously provide the daily oversight and consultations necessary to keep their projects on track. Ensuring our clients are satisfied with the services we deliver is one of the fundamental elements of the Salesforce Senior Account Manager position.
As a key member of the revenue team, this role is responsible for identifying and developing new business and winning deals based on a set quota. This role is designed to unleash a passionate individual with a consultative and growth mindset into solving customer problems and ensuring their success. This account executive will role-play as a consultant that will guide customers through initial pain points and identify solutions and service recommendations that directly resolve challenges and create strong business outcomes. The ideal Salesforce Account Executive must be professional, accessible, and flexible to the changing needs of the group, must work well in a team environment, capable of handling multiple, fast-paced situations, and adapt well to change.

Responsibilities:
- Advanced sales skills, which includes the ability to market and close the sale of an offering to meet and exceed services booking and revenue quotas.
- Be a key point of contact for our Salesforce clients as well as our internal leadership.
- Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities.
- Partner with internal teams Subject Matter Experts to create joint proposals that are communicated from a domain and industry solutions point of view.
- Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to the delivery team.
- Identify and support the development of key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments.
- Coordinate and manage communication and deal flow with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain high client satisfaction scores and retention rates.
- Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements to strategically build Salesforce solutions around those specific needs.
- Manage and support phases of the revenue development cycle to successfully close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations).
- Actively engage on social media, especially LinkedIn and other sales and marketing channels
- Manage pipeline forecast efficiently and accurately in the Salesforce CRM
- Collaborate with internal teams to effectively plan and execute (architecture teams, marketing teams, delivery teams)
- Add industry-specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process.
- Support proper transition to delivery for long-term customer success
- 5+ successful years of software sales experience a career with quota achievement
- Bachelor's Degree or Experience Equivalent
- Proven ability to independently execute the software sales cycles such as account research, deal strategy, proposal writing, and RFP responses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, quality commitment, and strong interpersonal skills
- Hands-on technical Salesforce experience that demonstrates a proven understanding of solving client needs with Salesforce solutions.
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills and ability to communicate effectively at all client levels.
- Advanced sales skills, which includes the ability to market and close the sale of an offering to meet and exceed services booking and revenue quotas.
- Professional services sales experience is preferred.
- Public Sector or Higher Education subject matter expertise is preferred
- CRM system implementation experience, with an understanding of the agile approach is bonus
