What do our Outside Sales Representative do?

Our Outside Sales Representative play a key role in growing our company by developing relationships with current and prospective customers. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will assist prospective customers in determining their pest control and lawncare needs. You will also:

• Drive new business opportunities by prospecting, developing leads, and cold calling
• Develop a daily schedule of activity from creative sources and qualified leads
• Conduct a thorough inspection of interior and exterior areas of potential customer’s property
• Recording accurate measurements and writing accurate descriptions of each property inspected.
• Make sales presentations to customers based on inspection findings and customer needs
• Develop valuable relationships with customers, delivering best in class customer service in every interaction.
• Build strong internal relationships with operations, marketing, and other departments
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor as you represent the PURCOR brand.

What do you need to be successful?

• High school diploma or GED
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (required)
• Outside Sales Experience – Door to Door preferred
• Effective presentation skills to customers one-on-one, and in small groups
• Basic math skills necessary for doing calculations related to the sales process
• Self-motivation
• Strong communication skills
