The Engineering Class Division (ECD) Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical sales and application engineering support for all Engineering Class Chain & Sprocket end-users and OEM's. This position will spend a significant amount of time in the field and will interface extensively with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering in an effort to grow the sales of domestically produced products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Works with the sales force to target those accounts with the highest growth potential for premium Engineering Class products.
• Focus on promoting the Division's engineering and manufacturing expertise.
• Provide technical product and application training to the sales force.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to identify new product ideas and product enhancements as well as target markets and applications for sales growth.
• Provide direction for competitive product testing and documentation of results.
• Other tasks, functions, and projects as assigned.

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience;
• 3 years of technical sales or technical design experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel.
