Sales Development Representative

Location: The Sales Development Representative is a remote position based in the U.S. / West Coast (AZ, CA, OR, or WA) reporting directly into our Santa Barbara office.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you are the initial primary liaison between Zyris and our new Customers; playing a key role in establishing a positive connection with new customers, and providing the education, information, and support they need to be successful. Overall responsibility is to promote the highest degree of customer satisfaction with information, and product solutions, while communicating information and company policies clearly and professionally.

How you will contribute to the team as a SDR:

• Inform and educate external inquiries to facilitate new customer acquisition
• Support and service external inquiries by creating and completing follow up tasks
• Update company records and contact information details in CRM system
• Document interactions to enable successful management of long-term customer relationship

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers professionally, efficiently, and effectively, using video conferencing, telephone, email, instant messaging, and active social media engagement.
• Flexibility in a dynamically growing/evolving company
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in both written and verbal form
• Ability to follow set processes and to manage customer orders, handle customer issues, and use a set of video conferencing demonstration tools with customers.
• Intellectual curiosity and ambitious

Qualifications (Knowledge and Experience required):

• 3-5 years of Sales/Customer Service experience
• Experience in the Dental Industry
• High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, and Slack
• Proficiency with order entry and CRM systems
• Experience with “Live Chat” customer inquiries
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• 2 years minimum experience working in a home office environment

Pay Scale for this position is $21.00/hr. - $28.00/hr. Zyris is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and the pay scale provided is the hourly wage range that it reasonably expects to pay for this role. Actual compensation offered will be determined based on criteria permitted under applicable law including but not limited to a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
