YOUR ROLE

  • Job Summary: The Sales Director Consumer Devices is leading AEE’s Consumer Device Sales team in the Americas and EMEA. The position has 7 direct reports who are Key Account Managers for ~15 Consumer Device accounts with headquarters or significant operations in North America.
  • The position is based out of US but is global in nature, as most customers run operations across Americas and APAC.
  • The Sales Director is responsible for driving sales in one of AEE’s key growth segments for the upcoming years, identify new opportunities incl. potential new accounts and support its team in delivering on this growth ambition.

Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Director leads the sales team to drive long-term, profitable growth for Henkel.
  • Form long-term relationships with key customers at senior management level as well as working level
  • Support team in developing ambitious, but realistic long-term growth plans
  • Provide clear direction and leadership to cross functional Henkel teams regarding strategy, responsibilities and expectations
  • Support team and follow-up on execution of growth plans for key accounts
  • Drive margin improvement
  • Provide guidance for account negotiations and support negotiations if needed
  • Support team in internal tasks and required escalations (e.g., regarding Supply Chain)
  • Sync with Marketing to support Key Account Manager in identifying future growth opportunities
  • Effectively manage expenses
  • Requires global travel

YOUR SKILLS

A set of key qualifications and skill are desired for this role:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electronics or related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of technical sales experience and experience working with major key accounts
  • Profound knowledge of Semiconductor market and applications
  • Previous management or cross-functional team leadership
  • Negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Up to 20% travel required.

The salary for this role is $150,000 - $190,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
