Commodity Sales Manager

Basic Function:

Primary liaison between UniSea, Inc. Alaskan production and export/domestic sales channels. Responsible for commodity purchases from outside suppliers for existing sales channels.

Essential Duties:

1) Provide market research and analysis to determine best sales opportunities for UniSea, Inc. and outside supplier’s seafood products.

2) Coordinate Alaskan production scheduling with domestic/export sales channels.

3) Coordinate commodity purchases from outside suppliers with existing sales channels.

4) Maintain product knowledge on all items to ensure they are effectively marketed.

5) Develop direct purchase and sales customers.

6) Develop customers in conjunction with the existing sales network.

7) Participate in the various trade shows to develop and increase commodity products sales.

8) Recommend to marketing department what products to sell, programs, pricing and promotions needed to maintain and promote UniSea, Inc. and other seafood products in the marketplace.

9) Coordinate with Sales Administrators, Finished Goods operations, and outside suppliers in arranging warehousing and shipping seafood products to customers and warehouse locations.

10) Report on an ongoing basis, sales activities, and key opportunities for commodity sales.

Requirements:

Education: Four-year degree with an emphasis in sales and marketing or equivalent education and experience.

Experience: Minimum of four to six years’ experience in manufacturing, sales, or logistics.

Salary $94,000.00 - $113,00.00 per year DOE
