Job Description
Midwest Unlimited is a nationally known provider of safety, rigging and fall protection equipment and supplies. We sell products to contractors and individuals who work in various industries. Midwest Unlimited is currently seeking Sales Account Specialists . These sales specialists are responsible for prospecting and generating new business and taking orders. These positions require calling target accounts to generate sales, as well as gaining product knowledge to price product to the customer. The hours are somewhat flexible and may vary to suit the candidate. The ideal candidate will have background in sales, specifically in the safety, rigging, and fall protection fields.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION :
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Midwest Unlimited's services and pricing structure. Making cold calls and turning those into leads and generating sales, building a new and expanded customer base to expand our business.
Determine customer needs and propose appropriate solutions. Meet or exceed business sales goals.
Complete scheduled and cold call prospecting activities to establish first and follow up appointments with customer decision makers.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers.
Utilize the company's Customer Relationship Management Software (Hubspot) on a daily basis to manage all customer correspondence.
Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
Regularly meet with Manager to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
Other duties, as assigned.

- Persistence – Sales Account Specialists frequently deal with difficult prospects and customers, but they must remain driven and positive even in the face of adversity to transform leads into sales
- Communication skills – Sales Account Specialists are personable communicators who clearly and persuasively describe products and services to customers to encourage sales transactions
- Mathematics – Sales Account Specialists perform basic calculations to provide prospects and customers with accurate prices and quotes
- Typing – Sales Account Specialists must be able to type at least 40 words per minute and perform various data entry tasks
- Collaboration – Sales Account Specialists collaborate with managers to evaluate KPIs and explore ways to generate sales growth
- Problem-solving skills – Sales Account Specialists identify and address prospects and customer concerns during the sales process
