The Position:
In the role of Inside Sales you will act as the liaison between potential residents and our Affinity Living Communities in their respective regions, answering all in-bound leads. This position is responsible for overseeing the sales process from inquiry to lease signing, developing strategic sales plans, monitoring lead follow-up and conversion, providing customer service, and assisting in potential resident community transitions across properties within the portfolio. Using relationship selling, strategic thinking and a continued commitment to helping people, Inside Sales will discover the underlying needs and wants of potential residents. Inside Sales will be responsible to achieve monthly quotas with metric reporting that is tracked to ensure success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales process; guide potential residents through their search process, convert leads into leases
- Manage primary inbound sales responsibilities such as:
- Receiving inbound phone and email inquiries and converting leads to tours
- Scheduling and conducting personalized community tours based on potential resident needs, interest, hobbies etc.
- Provide follow up to new prospects as well as past prospects, with the goal of moving the prospects through the decision process
- Manage lead pipeline on a daily basis utilizing our CRM to ensure complete and accurate prospect information is collected and entered on a consistent basis
- Drive occupancy by meeting short and long-term leasing goals
- Evaluate and shop competitors on a quarterly basis to understand the competitive landscape and our strategic position relative to the competition
- Exhibit the Axis Residential culture through all actions and interactions with potential residents
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Comply with all Fair Housing laws

What we are seeking:
- Must be a team player who takes a ‘we’ over ‘me’ approach to building and sustaining relationships with others.
- Must be determined, ambitious, and self-motivated.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- 1-2 years of relevant sales experience; preferred experience in multifamily sales/leasing preferably in senior living industry or hospitality.
- Strong relationship sales experience and selling services to individuals based on their need and wants rather than on price and features of our communities.
- Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent environment
- Outstanding communicator, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task; talk on the phone and take notes on the computer.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word & Excel), Google Apps, property management software (i.e. Yardi, OnSite), and CRM Solutions.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- High School Diploma, advanced education preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and insured, operable vehicle
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary starting at $66,000.

Physical Requirements:
- Sitting: 7-8 hours/day
- Walking: 1 hour/day

Environmental and Safety Factors:
- Work is primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions including slippery/uneven surfaces.
- Noise – Frequent exposure to typical office environment noise levels including conversational voice levels; infrequent exposure to high-volume office equipment (e.g., shredder)
- Working with others is frequent and comprises a major portion of the job.
- Pace of work – varies, depending on need and timelines.
- Occupational Stress – Varies by individual tolerance; high pressure, time-sensitive deadlines.
- Driving – Exposure to environmental and safety conditions related to operating a motor vehicle, including the possibility of bodily injury related to motor vehicle collisions
