King Medical Supply is a leading DME provider in Southern California for over 30 years. We have a comprehensive line of innovative wound care, bariatric and other specialty equipment that we provide for patient care in skilled nursing facilities and patient homes.
The Sales Account Representative will develop and execute plans to grow business in an assigned territory by promoting company products and services with meetings and in-services on our equipment. This will include the responsibility of maintaining accurate records on prospective and active accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years successful sales experience in acute and long-term care
- Motivated self-starter who can establish rapport with prospective clients
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Aptitude for learning technical and medical product information
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a high pressure, fast paced environment and to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills
- Industry contacts a plus
- Strong home medical equipment sales knowledge and experience
- Effective leadership skills
- Ability to recognize the needs and concerns of people to result in constructive working relationships
- Ability to multi-task along with attention to detail
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Efficient interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in speaking and writing
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Computer skills that include basic business programs and equipment, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position will report directly to the Owner
- Develops and maintains working knowledge of current KMS products and services offered.
- Responsible for acting as an outward-facing resource for assigned accounts and new prospects, building relationships, providing on-site support, serving as the primary point of contact for day-to-day customer questions, complaints, or conduct client training, representing the client internally, and coordinating with other departments to complete projects and address ongoing service needs.
- Manages your territory to reach revenue and service goals.
- Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
- Responsible for having the ability to communicate, build relationships, and support all levels of management within the company.
- Assists in special projects as necessary.
- Responsible for having strong phone skills and active listening.
- Responsible for having familiarity with Brightree systems and practices.
- Responsible for being in the field a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Responsible for the strategic planning and associated activities focused on maximizing relationships with new clients.
- Develops relationships with administration and decision makers (BOM, DON, Tx nurses, Facilities, Central Supply) assigned accounts including attending regional / local conferences to represent KMS.
- Performs sales calls regularly throughout territory on established and new accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Works with sales and executive management to develop and implement agreed upon sales and marketing strategies.
Compensation Package:
- Salary ($55,000 - $65,000), plus commission, based on experience and education
