Full description of the position

CSI's Sales Engineer-High Purity Fabrication represents some of the most advanced sanitary process equipment and systems solutions available. Our expertise, innovation and creativity have made us an industry leader in sanitary process systems and we are searching for a smart, ambitious and experienced outside sales person to join our team.

Your primary goal is to grow revenue by prospecting and by building and maintaining long-term professional relationships with our customers and prospects. This is accomplished by providing the best possible solutions for each customer within your region. The ideal candidate must have prior success selling engineered products and systems for industrial applications to buyers, engineers, managers and/or directors of large corporations in a competitive market.

Excellent skills are required in building relationships and growing existing accounts, while being willing to
prospect and fi nd new opportunities. Being a self-starter who is highly motivated and goal oriented inessential. The right candidate will be able to work productively with limited supervision, while being avital member of the team.

Compensation: $250,000+ based on industry experience and qualifications.

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Business, Sales or Process Engineering emphasis: preferred

Experience:

  • Mechanical aptitude; required
  • Computer proficiency; required
  • MS Office Suite including proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; required

Additional Requirements:

  • Approximately 8-10 nights of overnight travel per month
  • Ability to develop and implement a sales strategy specifically for your region
  • Ability to analyze customer sales and order history
  • Utilize CSI's systems, including CRM, to manage and grow your business
  • Ability to exhibit skillful use of CSI's communication techniques
  • Clean driving record

With or without reasonable accommodation, the successful candidate must, at times, be able to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the workday, have close visual acuity, and constantly operate a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a phone, copy/fax/scan machine, computer keyboard, and mouse. Ability to lift 30+ pounds, climb stairs and ladders, crouch, kneel and bend and perform safe operation of a vehicle, travel 8-10 days per month and handle exposure to hot and cold temperature environments

More than 40 hours per week will normally be required in order to achieve the productivity necessary for this position. Overnight travel, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday hours may be required.
