Our successful Farmers agency is growing and we’re hiring in Chaska, MN

We’re seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join our team on the sales side of our business. As a valued member of the brokerage, you will be responsible for working with current clients as well as new clients within the Home and Auto Insurance side of Insurance. You will be focused on quoting and binding new auto and home insurance product sales..

We’d be happy to offer hands-on training and support to help you advance in your career here! We offer assistance with licensing.

No experience in insurance is required!

There is potential to make additional commissions and bonuses .

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.

Requirements

• P&C Insurance License is preferred but we will assist with training/ obtaining licensing
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently and has excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be highly self-motivated and have a career minded vision.
• Driven and goal-oriented individual with a problem solving mentality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
