Do you have an eye for packaging design? Do you enjoy being creative and a true part of what you are selling?

Wynalda Packaging is an industry-leading folding carton manufacturer serving global leaders across a wide range of industries. Wynalda Packaging is currently looking to hire a full-time Sales Representative to develop new business in an assigned territory. The right candidate for the job will be creative with an eye for detail.

Summary

Responsible to sell and develop new business through direct outside contacts. Works with current accounts to continue to development of market and product potential.

Travel is required to cover your territory

The Territory Sales Representative's primary responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting and developing new folding - carton business opportunities within an assigned territory.
  • Identifying and pursuing national account opportunities for folding carton.
  • Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Utilizing a consultative sales approach in working with customers to understand and conceptualize on their folding - carton/packaging needs.
  • Building relationships with industry decision-makers to convey the value of our folding - carton organization and the broad scope of our packaging capabilities.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
  • Regular travel (20% +/-) within assigned territory, making presentations of finished packaging samples, delivering proposals, following-up on previous meetings, and actively seeking opportunities to build new relationships in folding - carton.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company policy.
  • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Sales Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years manufacturing sales experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Works well on an individual basis.
  • Technical background in mechanical and/or packaging engineering.
  • Goal oriented
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • Experience in point of purchase displays is a plus.
