Purpose and Scope:

The Sales Representative actively seeks to deliver profitable growth within their territory by providing exceptional value and service to both existing and potential customer accounts. This dynamic role promotes the Mauser Packaging Solutions Small Packaging line of rigid packaging products to Industrial, Commercial, Consumer and Food Service customers who rely on our packaging as a vital component of their product offering.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Account management throughout the entire selling cycle
  • Establish strong relationships at our customers
  • Identify and secure new business for Mauser
  • Become a critical resource for our internal teams
  • Work across customer functions to develop a clear understanding of their businesses and markets
  • Identify and assess customer needs to develop and execute on a strong value proposition for increased sales
  • Develop sales plans and budgets for an important sales territory
  • Develop an understanding of both customer vertical markets and regional dynamics
  • Become a knowledgeable product, service and value resource for our customers
  • Align territory strategy to the needs of the business
  • Navigate complex problems and challenges to determine the best solutions for our customer needs
  • Coordinates and collaborates with all internal Mauser functions to provide solutions for long-term success
  • Understand our competitor’s products, processes and capabilities to establish a superior relative offering
  • Be a supportive and respected commercial team member demonstrating professional, legal and ethical integrity

Job Requirements

  • Education and Experience:

    • 4 year degree or relevant experience
    • 0-5 years’ experience in sales or other relevant background

    Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Skilling in communicating effectively across all levels of management and functions
    • Self-motivated to achieve established goals and objectives
    • Ability to learn, develop and excel in managing customer relationships
    • Ability to develop strong value selling skills

    Office Requirements:

    • Hybrid schedule - two days weekly in the office when not traveling for business
