SUMMARY: Sells and services new and existing accounts, maintaining and increasing the level of sales and profit margins within their assigned territory. Develops new business while achieving exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides exceptional customer service and sales support to Diaz Foods and its customers in the following aspects:

• Must achieve goal set by Inside Sales Manager & established budget.
• Expedites customer orders. Required to complete daily visits to customers by the specified date and time, prior to cut-off time; plus makes arrangements for special routes and holiday schedules
• Provides customer information including the status of orders, product specifications, pricing and other sales related details
• Increases sales to current customers and opens and reactivates accounts for perspective and past customers
• Handles prospecting for customers and qualifying prospects
• Quotes prices and maintains up to date customer prices
• Contacts current and prospective customers to sell, explain and promotes Diaz Foods private labels and brands, as well as exclusive Diaz Foods product lines
• Maximizes profits

Customer Service/Support Duties:

• Provides a consistent, quality level of service to include initiating and follow-up with customers to sell or resolve problems and answer questions
• Resolves customer complaints effectively
• Provides delivery information and handles special requests
• Maintains professional telephone skills

SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

• Plans and controls activities-work with sales manager in developing sales targets.
• Attends Sales Meetings
• Studies the market, the customer and monitors competitive actions
• Promotes the positive image of the organization for customer perspective
• Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change and all requirements are subject to modification.
• Assist in the coordination of all promotions, food shows and trade shows

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication skills
• Retail Sales experience/Customer Service or Sales experience, or appropriate mix of education and experience
• Computer Skills
• Must have and maintain a current driver license and TN required minimum insurance.
• Must have personal vehicle
• Must be able to travel locally and visit customers in person
