As a Scarlet Highway Sales Associate, you will be an integral part of an exciting, new-to- market boutique that embraces style and sustainability while offering hand-selected quality goods. You will take an active part in growing the brand and building authentic connections with customers in a retail environment that is original, personalized, and passionate about community. We are proud to support over 100 independent artists and small brands offering products that are curated for your modern journey.

Responsibilities

Shape the Customer Experience

• Consistently provide excellent customer service that is memorable and personalized to every customer

• Contribute to our customer-focused mindset by adapting your communication style to meet the needs of a variety of customers

• Strive to build customer loyalty and drive repeat business

Drive Revenue

• Achieve personal and team sales goals

• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and partner with the store manager to own your role within the business

• Achieve target conversion rates set by management

• Upsell to customers through recommendations

• Assist in Scarlet Highway’s goal of acquiring 6,000 customers who spend $200 annually through the FastCashTM App

Build Relationships

• Create authentic, lasting connections with customers

• Build and maintain a clientele and leverage your client list to grow customer loyalty

• Contribute to a collaborative, supportive, positive, and team-oriented work environment

Represent the Brand

• Act as an advocate and ambassador for Scarlet Highway in the shopping center and the extended trade area

• Become an expert in product knowledge and educate customers on the different brands we offer

• Maintain visual merchandising to meet aesthetic standards

Execute Store Operations

• Perform POS transactions in an accurate and timely manner while capturing customer data and maintaining inventory integrity

• Assist in opening and closing duties as well as weekly/monthly inventory management activities

• Assist in maintaining a store that is clean, safe, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing

• Adhere to all Scarlet Highway polices and operating procedures

• Fulfill online orders and (BOPIS) buy online and pick up in store orders

• Stock products and maintain an accurate and organized stockroom

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a customer-focused retail environment

• Strong personal selling skills and customer relations experience

• Open and flexible availability to meet the needs of the business, including weekends, evenings, and holidays

• Ability to lift (at least 40 lbs.), carry, push, pull, squat, kneel, twist, turn, climb ladders, crawl, reach, bend, and stand for extended periods of time
