Inside Sales/Estimator

Nelson-Young Lumber Co., a family owned and operated business with lumber yard locations in Edgerton, Evansville, and Deerfield, WI; and a truss manufacturing plant in Edgerton WI, has been providing high quality building materials to contractors since 1913. We proudly offer one of the largest selections of building products in the area and have the expertise to help with any project, large or small. We are currently seeking to hire an experienced full-time Inside Salesperson/Estimator for our Edgerton location. The starting pay for the position is around $16 to $18 per hour.

Major responsibilities of the Inside Sales/Estimator:

• Greet and meet with customers
• Answer inquiries and product questions
• Review building plans and determine materials and products needed for those plans
• Estimate costs of project

Qualifications of the Inside Sales/Estimator:

• High school education or equivalent
• One to two years of related experience preferred, but not required
• Ability and willingness to learn new sales software and technology
• Knowledge of building products and materials preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Strong work ethic
• Intermediate computer skills.
