PURPOSE:

As the first point of contact, our Sales Assistants genuinely welcome guests into our facility throughout the day to answer inquiries and make introductions with dealership personnel as needed. The responsibility is to ensure all guest visits and calls are met with pleasantness and convenience while providing exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist sales team with customer introductions
• Greet and welcome customers within one minute of entering the dealership, in a genuine, friendly and courteous manner
• Identify the Sales Consultant with whom the customer has an appointment
• Provide outstanding customer service in all areas of the dealership
• Attend to “walk-in” clients by providing appropriate guidance and Sales Representative
• Attend to phone calls (within three rings) and provide quality assistance
• Direct the customer to the customer lounge that best suits their needs
• Ensure cleanliness of sales floor, vehicle showroom, and gallery
• Maintain integrity of sales log for all guest traffic and status
• Perform various clerical tasks as directed by sales management
• Alert management immediately of any customer issue
• Complete Mercedes-Benz training courses as directed
• Perform other specific assignments as directed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or the equivalent;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Computer experience with ability to type 50 wpm;
• Professional, friendly and enthusiastic disposition;
• Be self-motivated, organized and have the ability to multi-task;
• Ability to collaborate with other dealership personnel
• Customer service experience preferred
• Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
• Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity
• Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct
• Must be available to work Monday through Saturday (fluctuating 5-day per week schedule)
• Proficient knowledge of tools and materials needed to perform departmental duties ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
