Job Title: Consumer Account Manager
Hour/Week: 40+
Salary: Exempt - Base plus incentives

Summary: Sells for assigned accounts while providing excellent customer service by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned.
- Travels through sales territory as assigned to sell to retail accounts.
- Learns, understands, and uses Premiers Four Steps to a Sales Call.
- Step 1 Conducts a Written Sales Preplan that is turned in every Monday to supervisor prior to starting the work week. The sales Preplan guides the sales rep through the week to accomplish sales goals.
- Step 2 Survey an account by walking the entire floor of the account looking for opportunities for display activity and POS activity including in department and out of department. Introduces oneself to the account buyer then Services the account through filling shelves, hanging POS, checking code dates, and rotating product.
- Step 3 - Adjust Preplans to what was viewed during the account survey of the account and then presents sales pitch to the account decision maker.
- Step 4- Records success and follow-up needs for next call visit. Act on Commitments made to the account such as POS orders, sampling scheduling, etc.
- Stays on task, daily and weekly, to complete monthly DSOF, MBOs, incentives, feature price activity, distribution & other directives provided.
- Reviews pricing at each store visit to make sure we are priced properly vs competition, have feature pricing, and proper inventory levels to support features and displays.
- Reviews store distribution of beer category, sodas, and waters to make sure we have correct skus, are maximizing the distribution of Premiers portfolio, and reviews set flow to identify opportunities.
- Large Format Chain sales reps conduct weekly Display Support of Feature report to make sure we identify gaps to ad activity with direct supervisor.
- Sells in and verifies we have ample product for sampling activities
- Follows the Premier Quality and Rotation Policy Standards
- Understands and uses the Building with Beer platform on a daily basis
- Recaps individual MBO and incentives for the completed month by the 3rd business day following the end date of program(s). The recap is sent to immediate Supervisor by the due date.
- Has knowledge of all state laws concerning the selling and marketing of alcoholic beverages.
- Prepares sales orders obtained; Transmits sales data via wireless connection for current customers.
- Confers with Supervisor to resolve customer problems.
- Provides new customer data to business office for input into computer database.
- Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.
- Works promotions in designated sales area.

- Education and/or Experience - One year certificate from college or technical school; or 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Language Skills - Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills - Strong mathematical skills required.
- Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Encompass order processing systems, Outlook Contact Management software, and Internet Explorer.
- License - Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record is required.
- Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 40 pounds (case of beer) and occasionally lift and/or move more than 160 pounds (keg of beer).
- Work Environment - While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
