Summerfield Management is recruiting for an experienced Community Director for an apartment home community. The location boasts close proximity to a wide variety of outdoor recreational activities. The Community Director will be responsible for ensuring the operations of the apartment community are in compliance with the standards and expectations of Summerfield Management.

Compensation is depending on experience. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits paid holidays, paid vacation, and sick leave.

BASIC SCOPE AND FUNCTION OF POSITION:

Manages all operations of the property to ensure it is functioning in an efficient manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.

Should have a minimum of two years managerial experience within an apartment or related industry.

General knowledge of residential/property management laws/guidelines (tenant/Landlord Act, evictions, credit checks)

Ability to work independently, problem-solve, make decisions, and meet deadlines.
Detailed oriented.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on the daily needs of the facility.

Good people skills, including patience.

Excellent organizational skills.

Basic knowledge of building systems and building codes.

Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as Yardi, Rent Café.

Be able to work evenings and weekends.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL CONDITION:

General office environment, exterior, and interior maintenance work. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, use hands and fingers to handle, and reach.

Must pass drug screening and background check.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
