Position / Title: Sales Manager
Reports To: Director of Merchandising
Work Location: Northvale, NJ
Summary
JAM BNC is seeking an experienced, innovative and forward-thinking Sales Account Manager who will work hard and enthusiastically take on many responsibilities. This role will be instrumental in helping JAM BNC achieve increase revenue and support extensive sales reporting.
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth and development by strategically building relationships with other online marketing venues.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Leverage established relationships with client's key decision makers to maximize revenue potential.
- Cultivate new accounts and develop new business by identifying, qualifying, and calling prospective client lists.
- Manage the full sales cycle, guiding deals to close from initial outreach to onboarding.
- Implement and utilize analytics to track sales trends and identify opportunities for growth.
- Maintain weekly sales forecasts and achieve quota as defined by management
- Manage sales activity through Netsuite reporting.
- Research and develop lists of potential customers; regularly follow-up on leads and developing leads, and act to close deals.
- Partner with brand owners to leverage all marketing opportunities such as company networks or universities.
- Pioneer and create new opportunities with ecommerce accounts, identifying white space and marketing opportunities to generate sales.
- Build a trust and foster a relationship to be recognized as a premium ecommerce supplier.
- Become immersed and educated in all of the Hudson Envelope categories, brands and products.
- Actively participate in scheduled internal weekly and annual sales meetings, preparing in advance to share relevant and beneficial information.
- Collaborate with your sales peers, design teams and management to ensure that you are offering the very best assortment to the customers.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- 5+ years of Ecommerce sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business, Sales or related fields.
- Adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced business model.
- Proven sales track record
- Strong negotiating skills, business acumen and strategic-planning skills
- Strong computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Netsuite or Salesforce.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload and solve problems quickly
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities
- Knowledge of the paper industry a huge plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
