We are currently looking for an organised and motivated Sales Manager to support our growth.
Role Respobsibilites - Sales Manager:
- Working closely with the Sales, Marketing and Operational teams, you'll use your experience in selling to prospect and generate sales
- Guiding and influencing a small team, and leading by example through your own direct sales, you’ll structure the sales process to ensure all channels of enquiry are followed up, the customer has a positive experience, and repeat business is maximised
- Always looking for new ways to drive sales, you'll bring insights and ideas to the table
- Liaising with Marketing and making the most of every opportunity through lead generation and regular marketing campaigns and events.
- You'll be in close communication with our Testing, Goods Out, Accounts and Purchasing teams so patience, logic and approachability are very important.
- The office is lively and fun so an equally positive and happy attitude is a must!
The main responsibilities of this role are to sell our IT parts and systems utilising our own system’s data, marketing campaigns, and face to face meetings; to stimulate and oversee the sales opportunities being pursued by the team; and to confidently support and provide guidance to a team of salespeople.
Role Requirements - Sales Manager:
- Previous roles selling technology products or services to corporate, government, and education sectors would be desirable. Applicants with a proven sales track record will also be considered
- Excellent record in winning new clients, able to competently manage pre-sales, quoting, presenting, closing and project implementation to strict deadlines
- Experience of managing, mentoring, training and developing a sales team
- Understanding of various IT marketing principles, and how to use them to leverage sales
- Knowledge of current trends and topics in the IT market
- Keen to study and use data from our CRM to drive sales
- Sales forecasting and prioritising ‘pipelines’ accordingly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Using good judgement, empathy and professionalism to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to educate a team to use their time wisely and efficiently
- Accountability and honesty in communication with colleagues
- Motivating the team throughout the monthly sales cycle
- Calm and considered approach to working under pressure
- Positive, open and fair-minded when observing and evaluating the team’s progress
- Easy-going and good humoured
- Enjoy working in a busy and energetic environment
- A ‘can do, no quit’ attitude
- Desire to help each team member to progress and be the best they can be!
