Dana's Bakery is hiring a customer service for our corporate office located in South Hackensack, NJ. This is a full time, hourly position.

Dana's Bakery makes traditional French macarons in fun American flavors. We cater to various clients which include custom corporate orders as well as nationwide shipping through our website.

We are looking for a full time customer service representative for our corporate office. You must be a go-getter with a positive attitude and outgoing personality. Sales experience a plus but not necessary, we will train you. A multi-tasker who enjoys a fast paced environment. Our office environment is professional, but we always keep it fun.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, process, and enter orders.
• Respond to customer requests, inquiries and communications in a timely manner.
• Receive and resolve a variety of service issues, and provide quality service to both internal and external customers.
• Conduct follow up phone calls and emails to customers who have concerns or questions.
• Assist in printing on Macarons, we will train you!
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures regarding customer service.
• Facilitate the collection of competitive information in order to monitor business trends and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have 2 years progressive customer service or direct marketing experience
• Must work well under pressure, be able to handle many projects and tasks simultaneously
• Must be organized and time conscious
• Positive attitude and eager to learn
• Confident on the phone
• Computer Savvy / Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Mac
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have an excellent sense of priorities
• Must have data base management experience
• Customer service & relationship building
• MUST BE FUN, ENERGETIC and FRIENDLY
• MUST NOT BE ALLERGIC TO NUTS
• MUST LOVE FOOD!

JOB TYPE:

• Full-time, 40 hrs per week
