Discount Retail chain in business over 40 years in the Southeast looking for talented people to help grow the brand. Strong supervisory skills required. Individuals who are motivated, confident, reliable, detail-oriented and able to work under pressure will thrive and be well suited for this role.

Bring the experience from production, grocery, hospitality, warehousing or the restaurant industry and we can teach you ours. Leadership a must, and the ability to recruit, motivate, train and develop people to partner with you in achieving the company vision

Education Requirements (the candidate must possess a minimum or two, in addition to the diploma):

• High School Diploma
• Some college or degree preferred
• Comparable work related experience

Past Work Experience (the candidate must possess a minimum of two):

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably with a big box chain.
• Consumer retail or thrift businesses
• Past line management experience not limited to hiring, termination, performance review, and policy adherence.

Key job duties include:

• Ability to handle the physical requirements of sitting, walking, bending, squatting, climbing and twisting on an intermittent or continuous basis
• Utilize all employees efficiently and effectively to achieve production quotas
• Develops staff by recruiting talent, engaging employees, orienting new hires, and training to company policy and procedures
• Rotate and cross train employees in order that they may be able to do several jobs as necessary
• Monitors performance through the use of employee attainment recordkeeping
• High energy level, strong leadership skills, independent thinker
• Maintains clean work environment
