Retail Sales Sales Administrative Assistant in New York, NY
ROCHE BOBOIS, world leader in the high-end furniture industry is looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant within its New York showroom.
His/ Her role will be to uphold the high-end standards of customer service expected of the Roche Bobois client and the brand.
The role will require a mix of Sales and Administration Support. From welcoming and assisting clients when needed, to being fully knowledgeable of our product and able to independently complete a Sale from beginning to end. To assist the sales staff in all aspects of the store business, from sales, customer service, administrative tasks, merchandising of the showroom and the processing of the purchase orders with our workshops. He/ She will be benefiting from an intensive period of training on internal administrative procedures, sales techniques, corporate process and Roche Bobois collection knowledge.
The main responsibilities will be:
Administrative tasks:
- To work on the administrative reporting (Traffic, leads..) to the US headquarters;
- To prepare purchase orders and follow up on production process with Roche Bobois factories;
- To maintain ongoing tracking of every showroom order;
- To review customer files and the corresponding administrative documents;
- To maintain general showroom upkeep such as ordering supplies, as well as, handling necessary maintenance.
Merchandising:
- To prepare and update the store tagging (Prices, special promotions...) under the store manager supervision;
- To work with suppliers to update samples, as needed
- To assist with bi-yearly inventory;
- To coordinate logistics and showroom transfers with our New Jersey Distribution center
Sales
- To welcome and greet customers, as needed;
- To discover and comprehend the needs of the client;
- To use and apply the Roche Bobois selling techniques (5C, 8 Signatures..);
- To learn the Roche Bobois collections and be able to present them to our clients;
- To know and apply Roche Bobois policies and have all key information needed to sell (Quick ship stock references, samples, pricing..)
- To follow up with leads in a professional manner;
- To execute and manage a client Portfolio when needed.
Requirements:
- Motivation to work in a sales environment;

- Resourceful problem solver;
- Positive and professional demeanor;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Highly organized to handle multiple tasks;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
- Interest in the furniture business;
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and comfortable with other computer software programs at an advance level;
- Design Background preferred but not required;
- Multi Lingual preferred but not required ;

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
