We are looking to add an Assistant Community Manager to the team at our Chelsea Park West apartment community in Traverse City, MI.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist the Community Manager in overseeing all daily operations of a multi-family residential apartment community including:
- Monitoring/assisting in all leasing activity
- Processing move-ins/move-outs
- Reviewing and monitoring resident renewals
- Overseeing resident billings and delinquency collections
- Daily and weekly property status reporting
- Scanning and entering bank deposits
- Processing accounts payable invoices
- Coordinating resident events
- Participating in marketing campaigns for print, on-line, and direct mailing advertisements
- Working with maintenance team on community/grounds-related issues
- Supervising and motivating the leasing team to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements::
- Must have 2-4 years of residential property management experience
- Able to multi-task and maintain a positive enthusiastic attitude
- Must be detail-oriented and organized
- Can demonstrate excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Be available to work some Saturdays
- Ability to successfully pass preemployment drug screening and background check
Software Knowledge Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, PowerPoint
- Experience in property management software required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $42,000.00 per year
