Job Description

Precision Tools Service, Inc. has an immediate opening for Outside Industrial Sales. Our primary focus is the Tier 1 & 2 Japanese Automotive suppliers. The Account Representative will visit on a regular basis key customers and develop an action plan to grow and maintain accounts while identifying the customer’s needs and market opportunities.

• Develops multiple relationships within the customer’s organization including purchasing, engineering, facility managers, project managers, maintenance, quality, and corporate level management.
• Develop product knowledge while using a hands-on approach and personal initiative.
• Develop relationships with vendors to gain product knowledge and technical support.
• Customer service support and team commitment.
• Produce and track sales, orders, and inventory reports.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School GED
• 1+ years of sales experience and preferably with an industrial distributor
• Knowledge of cutting tools, abrasives, pneumatics, maintenance, repair, and operating products is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel with aptitude to learn new computer applications
• Excellent math, verbal, and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Phone etiquettes
• Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work appropriately
• Ability to react well under the pressure of a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments
• Fast and accurate data entry skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00
