If you enjoy delicious desserts and working with awesome people, we would like to talk with you. Splurge Bakery has an opening for an experienced Front of House Staff to work with our customers on designing specialty cakes and desserts for their special events.

Our ideal candidate is a confident customer service representative with a friendly demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail focused on increasing sales and promoting customer loyalty.

Splurge Bakery is a family-owned, custom bakery established in 2006. At Splurge Bakery we love our customers, our wide variety of delicious desserts, and our tiny kid clients. We are currently building out our front-of-the-house staff and seeking Sales Associates, ideally experienced in party planning to add to our awesome team.

You will be responsible for assisting customers with their dessert selections and keeping track of our high volume of orders each week. We are seeking a detailed and customer-oriented individual with exceptional communication and organizational skills. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a customer sales role and must have experience in party planning. Creativity a plus!

Essential Job Functions:

Answer phone in a pleasant and respectful manner;

Maintaining a professional sales environment;

Work creatively and patiently with our clients on their specialty cake and dessert orders;

Ensure complete accuracy of all orders;

Communicate orders to our production department, including our bakers and cake decorators;

Keep track of e-commerce orders;

Organize and assist in-person pick-up and organizing deliveries;

Create a positive, customer-focused front of house experience;

Experience:

Customer Service: 1-year minimum (Required)

Party Planning: 1-year minimum

Store Hours: 9 am - 5 pm Monday -Friday; 9 am - 2 pm Saturday.

Not only does Splurge Bakery offer delicious baked items, but we also host birthday parties, special events, and serve a discerning corporate clientele.

We currently have a creative, talented team of bakers, decorators, and front-of-house staff, and are looking for two more people who want to be part of our growing team!

Job Types: Full-time

Pay: $33,000-$55,000 per year depending on experience
