Summary:

The Senior Manager of Corporate Event Sales and Activation will work with the Corporate Events team to sell and execute events at Hard Rock Stadium. The Senior Manager will oversee multiple tasks and stakeholders from the planning and execution to post-event reconciliation. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong operational skills, premium service, and a go-getter selling attitude, with the ability to ensure timely and efficient event management.

Responsibilities:

EVENT PLANNING AND EXECUTION

• Responsible for contract execution
• Serve as client’s primary point of contact to plan the event
• Create and maintain event playbook for each booking, including site plans, layouts, banquet event order, operation plan, and staffing plan
• Work closely with Stadium Operations on event space and calendar availability
• Communicate client requirements and expectations with outside vendors
• Oversee event set up, tear down, and follow-up

REVENUE GENERATION

• Responsible for soliciting, negotiating, and selling corporate events
• Manage inbound and outbound calls
• Schedule and execute client site visits
• Prepare proposals and presentations
• Actively upsell and cross-sell products and experiences to maximize revenue
• Negotiate contracts and assist with accounts receivable

SALES ACCOUNTABILITY

• Ensure that CRM inquiries and leads are recorded and regularly updated
• Assist the development and solicitation of five-star event experience packages and programs aimed to entice future and repeat customers

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in Operations, Service, or Event Activation
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in PR & Events, Logistics, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
• Strong project management, communication, and service skills
• Desire to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
