The NACO Sales Learning and Development Manager will support the development, implementation and maintenance of our strategic sales processes, diagnostic laboratory products, clinical sales training and service education roadmaps and new product launches for United States and Canada sales associates. This learning and development professional will utilize adult learning principles, analytical and operational expertise and partner with sales and marketing leadership to drive strategic business goals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Support all aspects of planning, implementation and management of our Sale Onboarding Roadmaps, Sales Solutions Workshops, new product launches, and national and regional meetings, as needed
Drive process improvements with the current sales training processes
Identify needs and execute improvements for sales skills and product knowledge expertise
Support the team in executing an operationally-sound learning and development plans
Manage to objectives and KPIs of the team, measuring learning and development and sales trainee appraisal process
Plays a key role in cross-functional sales training functions
Evaluate various training modalities and strategies to propose solutions
Keep abreast of latest sales learning and development practices, industry trends and best practices
Develop and deliver highly engaging sales and product training programs via VILT or ILT
Create and submit learning content compliant with the Medical-Legal-Regulatory approval process
Coach associates throughout the Onboarding Roadmap and Learning Journey continuum
The essential requirements of the job include:
9+ years experience with a bachelors or 7+ years experience with a masters degree
5+ years of related sales training development and facilitation experience
5+ years of diagnostic sales or hands-on knowledge of laboratory diagnostics and devices
Clear understanding and/or application knowledge of LMS; preferably with Cornerstone
Experience in applying adult learning principles in designing, developing, and delivering product training content.
Excellent classroom and virtual facilitation/presentation skills.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands by taking a high level of initiative.
Advanced understanding of sales processes, preferably in healthcare capital equipment sales.
Experience in leading without direct-line authority and 1:1 coaching.
Ability to act independently and handle multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to articulate learning objectives that are specific, concise, and measurable.
Detail oriented with accomplished organizational/time management skills.
Ability to consult with stakeholders of all levels, advising on best approaches for the most effective delivery of sales learning and development content and approaches.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Field sales knowledge and experience
Laboratory diagnostics industry experience
Proficient application with authoring tools, preferably Articulate RISE, Camtasia
Functional knowledge of reporting and data analytics tools like Excel, smartsheets, Power BI
3+ years of prior medical sales experience or strong knowledge of medical sales processes preferred
