Trico Specialty Films is a leader in plastic film extrusion and is specifically known for working with customers to produce high-quality customized and specialty polypropylene film products. Trico is a privately held, family-owned business operating two production facilities in North Kingstown, RI. Recently recognized as with an Emerging Manufacturer Award by Providence Business News, our company is growing, and we are looking for talented, team-oriented people to join us.

Job Description:
This role is responsible for selling company product to new and existing customers by communicating with customers how our unique products and capabilities meet customer needs. You will cultivate and maintain positive, productive interpersonal relationships both internally and externally. You will help identify new markets, products, customers, and business opportunities. Specific responsibilities include:

• Provide and answer questions about product technical and engineering information
• Prepare for and conduct sales presentations
• Negotiate terms and pricing on sales contracts and close orders
• Monitor competitive products and trends in the marketplace
• Evaluate the positioning of company products in the market
• Serve as a technical expert and leader within the company
• Work with manufacturing operations to test new products and formulations
• Work with quality control to address customer issues and improve products
• Plan, organize, guide, and leads projects
• Provide support to business leaders as required
• Travel required – approximately 25%

Full Time Salary: $90,000 or more based on degree and experience.

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of sales experience in product development or customer service role
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering (preferred) or business/marketing/sales or related field
• Ability to proficiently write and speak English fluently
• The ability to execute strategies focused on organizational growth.
• Experience in the plastics industry preferred
