UrbanSource Countertops is a stone countertop provider that is part of Artelye, Inc. -- a leading supplier, fabricator, and installer of granite and quartz countertops in the mid-Atlantic region. Our vast inventory gives customers the ability to find exactly what they want for their kitchen or bath. We have very fast turnaround times and install within 5-7 business days. Our new showroom serves residential clients in the Raleigh region.

IMMEDIATE OPENING for an experienced countertop sales consultant - work 5 days per week, which requires and include Saturday hours

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop demand in the marketplace, create new and maintain current customers through sales and promotion of products, which include granite, marble, quartzite natural stone as well as name-brand engineered stones, Aspen Quartz and Avalon Sinks.

The ideal candidate would have experience in sales, design, home improvements, and kitchen & bath and be able to generate sales for the company by reaching out to homeowners, home improvement contractors, and small builders.

* Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients within the remodel, home improvement, cabinet maker, and small builder markets

* Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made

* Follow up on new leads and referrals

* Gather market intelligence and provide data to the Branch Manager

* Ensure all new customers are set up appropriately according to marketing and sales standards in CRM System (Moraware)

* Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock

* Develop and maintain current product knowledge

* Participate in the events offered and sponsored by UrbanSource Countertops as needed and required

* Ensure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, including samples, brochure, and other collateral supplies such as display towers

* Provide immediate and accurate response to customers regarding price quotes

* Keep current customers informed and trained on new and existing products and programs

* Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up activities

* Manage customer relationship: expectations, needs, concerns, etc., in order to encourage the consumption and sale of new products

* Maximize the use of the UrbanSource Countertops showroom to cultivate customer relationships

* Ensure all purchase orders, deposits and final payments are collected.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have an interest in home improvements or stone countertop sales

* Highly personable, skilled at interacting with clients and prospects at a variety of knowledge and comfort levels

* Experience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using cell phone apps

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Be reliable and able to work our busy Saturday showroom hours

* Willing to learn new concepts, products, and ideas

* Problem-solving skills are a must

* Experience with kitchen or bath design is a plus

This is a full-time position with a generous commission compensation commensurate with sales performance. Benefits include company contribution to health benefits, Paid Time Off, and 401k after probationary period.
