Our goal is to design, manufacture, and install high-quality, fully custom organizational solutions for homeowners and small business including simple reach-in closets to master closet, entertainment center, garage, pantry, wall-bed & murphy-bed solutions. We stand by our product and workmanship offering a completely transferrable warranty. .

This is a Sales position first and foremost, the Designer part of the job is secondary. If you enjoy following a Sales Process and enjoy the challenge and rewards of Commission-based Sales, we would love to meet you!

Closet Factory Sales/Design Consultant

We are looking for self-motivated, energetic, sales-driven, entrepreneurial individuals with a successful sales background and a passion for design and organization to deliver an exceptional customer experience. Successful Design Consultants not only service and close company generated leads, but also utilize our Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce) to manage and build their business creating self- generated opportunities that are paid at an even higher commission rate.

Closet Factory's Design Consultants examine each homeowner's storage system needs and help determine the best and most thoughtful solutions. They work closely with homeowners to maximize every inch of space; creating designs that function at the highest level and enhance each home. A designer’s typical day includes an in-home consultation meeting with prospective clients, measuring the space, taking an inventory of what needs to be organized, discussing options, features and budgets; preparing designs on laptops using our CAD system; quoting and securing contracts; and providing support and follow up for scheduled installations.

We custom manufacture each project at our state-of-the-art factory in Apex and back our products with a lifetime guarantee. The design team, manufacturing team, and installation crews are all highly trained, highly experienced Closet Factory employees.

Specific Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Sales Experience with a proven track record of meeting sales quotas, overcoming objections and closing the sale.
  • Interior Design, Home Improvement related sales experience or a proven passion for home décor and design a plus
  • Familiarity and proficiency with Windows software programs
  • Experience with design software / CAD a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Prospective candidates should be open to taking a Predictive Analytics test
  • Familiarity with DISC buying personality types a plus
  • Familiarity with Jorden Belfort's "Way of the Wolf Straight Line Selling" book is a plus
  • Familiarity with Colleen Stanley's "Emotional Intelligence for Sales Success" book a plus

Commission + Bonus Incentives: $40,000 - $150,000 per year... no limit (not capped)
