#1 Cochran, the largest and most-recognized automotive retailer in Southwestern Pennsylvania, is actively seeking an experienced General Sales Manager for our Robinson Buick/GMC Showroom, conveniently located on Campbells Run Road.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing a successful domestic showroom and leading a talented team of sales professionals. Prior GM sales management experience is a huge plus! This individual will become proficient in driving an efficient omnichannel customer experience through our all-new, cutting-edge EXPRESSWAY sales process, and will have a thorough understanding of digital commerce and supporting technologies. Additionally, a strong focus on delivering outstanding customer care is critical in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and implement customer enthusiasm and owner loyalty strategies
• Manage sales department profitably
• Manage relationships with internal departments and external resources
• Prepare for and conduct departmental meetings to convey information
• Set the vision and philosophy for departmental operations to foster and support dealership customer satisfaction objectives
• Manage new and used vehicle inventory
• Maintain internal control over inventory to prevent theft, vandalism, and lot damage
• Maintain a professional working relationship with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers
• Contribute to a cohesive dealership team atmosphere, working toward identified dealership goals

QUALIFICATIONS

• Dealership sales management experience required
• Must be interested in training/mentoring additional sales professionals and encouraging a strong, inclusive team culture
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Tech savvy with solid experience in handling internet and phone inquiries
