Independent Sales Contractor for the Industrial Packaging Industry

We are seeking a driven sales and relationship professional to join our team. This "hands-on" position will focus on prospecting, hunting and developing new accounts and then maintaining a long productive, growing and prosperous relationship.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 4 or more years of successful experience selling in the manufacturing/commercial, Packaging industry; Crating, Corrugated and/or Fabricated foam or plastic packaging solutions or similar industries preferred..
• Bringing an existing book of business is helpful but not necessary. Understanding of wood crating, corrugated boxes, cases, foam and/or plastics is helpful
• Proven work experience in Sales, Key Account Manager, or relevant role
• An exceptional level of motivation, desire, competitiveness, customer driven focus, time management, organizational and multi-tasking,
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• Ability to interpret drawings of crating and packaging solutions and knowledge of ERP system administration preferred
• Experience delivering client-focused solutions
• Proven prospecting, follow-up, and value-added consultative selling skills
• Ability to demonstrate clear verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong aptitude influencing key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
• An exciting part of the job is being involved with design, innovation, and creating new sustainable packaging concepts for our clients.
• Determine market strategies & goals for each product and service by researching and developing lists of potential customers. This will include annually developing a list of target accounts with written plan of action.

Job Types: Contracted Position

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00+++ per year
