Salary: $45,000 annually with bonus opportunities

Job Description:
The Business Development Representative is responsible for expanding our company's customer base. Using prospecting strategies to identify prospects and initiating the first outreach with potential customers, the goal is to help book appointments and fill the pipelines for the dealership sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the overall success of the dealership by working with all customers, teams and departments collaboratively and professionally
- Manage incoming internet and phone inquiries and proactively pursue additional customer leads
- Logging customer details and comments in our system.
- Scheduling appointments and following up with any "no-show" customers.
- Maintaining thorough, up-to-date knowledge of our products.
- Greeting and assisting walk-in customers, and treating all clientele with courtesy and respect.
- Maintaining contact with customers to ensure they are happy with our service.
- Ensuring potential customers are aware of any promotions.
- Work in close partnership with sales consultants to provide qualified leads and detailed information on customer requirements
- Meet specified monthly targets and goals
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, with an ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Self-starter, motivated and success driven
- Confident, positive and high energy presence
- Prior customer relations or BDC experience preferred
- At least 1 year of internet sales experience; experience in an automotive setting preferred
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass background and drug screenings
